Cellier Saint Benoit, Arbois Pupillin Chardonnay Courbes Raies, 2023
🏰 The 2023 Cellier Saint Benoit Arbois Pupillin Chardonnay Courbes Raies is a stunning Jura Chardonnay from rising star Benjamin Benoît, celebrated for its 【unique blend of Burgundian finesse and distinctive Jura minerality】. Sourced from limestone-rich vineyards in Pupillin, one of the region's most prized terroirs, this wine is fermented and aged in large used oak barrels with extended lees aging. It offers a nose of white peach, lemon zest, yellow apple, and subtle buttery oak, leading to a layered and energetic palate with ripe orchard fruit, chalky minerality, and a saline, mouthwatering finish. Richly textured yet beautifully fresh, it delivers remarkable balance, precision, and significant aging potential.
🍴 This serious Jura Chardonnay is a superb partner for roast chicken, creamy mushroom dishes, and scallops. It also pairs beautifully with Comté cheese, seafood in beurre blanc, and various poultry dishes.
🥂 An excellent choice for a gourmet dinner, a wine tasting focused on unique terroirs, or as a sophisticated gift for a discerning wine lover. Its complexity and aging potential make it a wine to cellar and watch evolve.
Serving Suggestion: Serve chilled at 12-14°C (53-57°F). While enjoyable now, it is recommended to drink from 2027 onwards or cellar confidently for 10-15+ years to fully appreciate its development.
