Rayas, Chateau Des Tours Blanc Grande Reserve, 2016
🏰 Château des Tours Blanc Grande Réserve from Rayas is a highly sought-after white wine, known for its rarity and exceptional quality. The 2016 vintage in the Southern Rhône, where Château des Tours is located, was generally considered excellent, producing wines with good ripeness, balance, and freshness. While specific tasting notes for the 2016 Blanc Grande Réserve are scarce due to its limited production, Rayas' white wines are renowned for their unique character, often featuring a rich texture, complex aromatics of white flowers, stone fruit, and a distinctive mineral edge. 【 Rarity and exceptional quality from a legendary producer 】
🥂 This prestigious white wine is perfect for a special occasion, such as a milestone anniversary, an intimate gourmet dinner, or a significant wine tasting event where its unique profile can be fully appreciated.
🍴 Given its potential richness and complexity, this wine would pair exquisitely with luxurious seafood dishes like grilled lobster, pan-seared foie gras, or rich poultry preparations such as roasted guinea fowl with truffles. For an Eastern pairing, consider delicate Cantonese steamed fish with premium ingredients or a refined abalone dish.
BACKGROUND
Château Rayas is a leading producer in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation of the Rhône Valley, France. It is one of the region's most prestigious estates, and its wines fetch some of the highest prices in southern France. The estate covers 22 hectares, with 15 hectares dedicated to vineyards. Most of their vines are planted to Grenache. The estate's red wine is made solely from Grenache. The château's white Châteauneuf-du-Pape is generally made from Grenache Blanc and Clairette in roughly equaly proportions. Château Rayas has been in the Reynaud family since the 1880s.
