Daniel Moine Hudelot, Bonnes Mares Grand Cru, 1989
🏰 【From the highly acclaimed 1989 vintage, this Daniel Moine Hudelot Bonnes Mares Grand Cru is a testament to Burgundy's finest Pinot Noir.】 The 1989 vintage was initially rated among the highest, with some wines achieving "almost perfect" scores. While specific tasting notes for this exact wine are scarce, expect a mature Grand Cru Burgundy to showcase complex tertiary aromas alongside its red fruit core. Look for notes of dried red fruits, forest floor, truffle, and subtle spice, with a powerful yet elegant structure that has gracefully evolved over three decades.
🍴 This exquisite red Burgundy is ideally paired with classic French cuisine, especially roasted duck, goose, or various game birds. It also complements delicate beef dishes, mushroom-based preparations, or aged, earthy cheeses.
🥂 An exceptional choice for a milestone celebration, a serious wine tasting, or a special anniversary dinner, particularly for those celebrating 30+ years.
*Serving suggestion for older wines:* Given its age, this wine will likely have sediment. Decant very carefully 1-2 hours before serving at 16-18°C (60-64°F). Be mindful of the cork and capsule, as they can be fragile. This wine is a journey through time, so savor each sip.
