🏰The 1996 Faiveley Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru is a classic example of mature red Burgundy, offering a savory and classic style. From a highly regarded vintage for red Burgundy, this wine is expected to display a complex bouquet of dried red fruits, forest floor, truffle, and gamey notes, with a firm structure, fresh acidity, and plenty of extract that promises a wonderful wine for mid-term cellaring. It's a testament to the aging potential of Grand Cru Burgundy.
🍴 This distinguished red 布根地 (Burgundy) is an ideal partner for roasted duck, goose, or other game birds. For an Eastern pairing, consider a rich Cantonese braised pigeon or a delicate Japanese sukiyaki.
🥂 An excellent choice for a special occasion, a vertical tasting, or a thoughtful gift for a Burgundy collector. Expect an old-world charm with delicate nuances. A gentle reminder that older vintages may have fragile corks and capsules, so careful opening is advised.
