Amiot Servelle, Chambolle Musigny Les Amoureuses 1er Cru, 2016
🏰 The 2016 Burgundy vintage was challenging due to severe frost and rampant mildew, especially in Chambolle-Musigny, which was hit hard. However, a scorching hot July and August salvaged the vintage, leading to exceptionally high quality grapes that survived. The reds, in particular, were rich, ripe, and balanced, often described as classic, fine-boned, and elegant with subtle detail and good persistence. Expect delightful, medium-bodied reds with juicy cherry fruit and supple tannins. The wines are often described as having a fine quality of fruit and good persistence. 【儘管年份艱難卻展現出色的平衡與優雅】
🍴 This red Burgundy is excellent with roasted duck, pan-seared scallops, mushroom-based dishes, or delicate game. Its elegance and fruit profile would also complement dishes with truffle.
🥂 This is a wine for a discerning palate, perfect for a sophisticated dinner party or a special celebration where a high-quality, elegant red Burgundy is appreciated. It's approachable now but will continue to evolve.
BACKGROUND
Domaine Amiot Servelle is a leading wine producer based in the village of Chambolle-Musigny in Burgundy's Côte d'Or district, with seven hectares (17 acres) of Pinot Noir vines. This includes vines from six premier vineyards. The company produces a range of wines from the region's top vineyards, including wines from the renowned Les Amoureuses vineyard, dominated by Pinot Noir. The history of the winery can be traced back to the 1920s. The owner's grandfather began planting grape vines in the village, and his parents also founded a winery. The owner himself founded Domaine Amiot-Servelle in 1989.
