🏰 【Michel Bouzereau's Meursault Genevrieres 1er Cru 2016 is a personality-driven Chardonnay, recognized as one of the best wines from the domaine in this vintage, offering exquisite refinement and a lively mineral-inflected finish】. [cite: 13 in previous turn] The Bouzereau family owns a mere four rows in this small Premier Cru vineyard, making it one of their most exclusive and prestigious wines. [cite: 49 in previous turn] The 2016 Meursault 1er Cru Genevrières is expected to provide immense pleasure over the next decade. [cite: 13 in previous turn] It boasts a potent bouquet with conspicuous eucalyptus scents that, fortunately, do not obscure the terroir. [cite: 13 in previous turn] The palate is well-balanced with a slightly honeyed texture, a fine bead of acidity, and modest weight, with veins of walnut and ginger towards the lively finish. [cite: 13 in previous turn] Other tasting notes highlight pure, cool scents of pear, apple, white flower, and mineral reduction, with more refinement and minerality evident on the super-saline-inflected finale. [cite: 13 in previous turn] Rich, layered honey, grilled nuts, and butterscotch on the nose lead to a sexy, luscious mouthfeel that is full but never heavy, with wonderful length. 🍴 This exquisite white Burgundy is a superb match for shellfish, pasta, rich fish like salmon or tuna, mild and soft cheeses, and cured meats. [cite: 18, 20 in previous turn]
🥂 Ideal for a refined dining experience, a focused Burgundy white wine tasting, or a special occasion to share with discerning connoisseurs.
