🏰 Domaine Anne Gros is celebrated as one of Burgundy's premier winemakers, with her wines inspiring a cult-like following due to their faithful reflection of terroir, enhanced by her expert touch. 【Anne Gros's expert touch yielding richer aromatics and silkier tannins】 The 2014 Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Rouge, a Pinot Noir, is a testament to this, offering richer aromatics, rounder curves, and silkier tannins. The vintage itself is characterized by aromas that explode with red berries.
This red Burgundy presents tasting notes of red cherries, pomegranate, red plum, light herbs, and pepper. It is earthy, tangy, and juicy, with a good balance between acidity and fruit.
🍴 This versatile Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with a range of dishes. Consider aged local French cheeses, charcuterie, or pork sausages with herbs. It also complements white meats and roasted dishes served with onion and fruit confits.
🥂 With its moderate acidity, this wine is well-suited for drinking young, making it an excellent choice for casual gatherings, a bistro meal, or an intimate dinner where an elegant and supple red Burgundy is desired.
