🏰news | features + short tasting note IN ENGLISH
Trapet's Chambertin Grand Cru 2007 is a prestigious red Burgundy wine, crafted from Pinot Noir in one of Burgundy's most revered Grand Cru vineyards. While specific tasting notes for this particular bottling are not widely available, Chambertin Grand Cru is celebrated for its profound depth, power, and longevity. The 2007 vintage in Burgundy was generally considered a lighter, more elegant vintage, producing wines with bright acidity and charming fruit, rather than immense power. Expect a wine with an evolving ruby to garnet color, delicate aromas of red berries (cherry, raspberry), rose petals, and earthy notes, with a subtle hint of game or spice. The palate should be refined and harmonious, with silky tannins, refreshing acidity, and a long, complex finish that speaks of its Grand Cru pedigree and graceful aging.

This elegant Grand Cru Burgundy demands equally refined pairings. It would be superb with roasted game birds like pheasant or partridge, delicate beef dishes such as beef tenderloin with a light mushroom sauce, or a classic coq au vin. It also pairs beautifully with earthy truffle dishes and a selection of fine, aged cheeses like Comté or Époisses.
