750ml
Label : Good Label
Level : Neck Level
Capsule : Capsule : good condition
🏰 The 2020 Jean Jacques Confuron Nuits St. Georges Aux Boudots 1er Cru comes from a solid, rich, and heady vintage in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, known for intense, linear wines with good ripeness and fine tannins. This Pinot Noir Premier Cru initially shows a touch of reduction, but with aggressive swirling, aromas of spiced plum, dark berries, and a hint of underbrush emerge. It offers better volume and density, along with a more refined texture to its succulent and suave medium-bodied flavours, culminating in a serious, youthful finish. The nose is elegant and notably spicier, combining red and dark berries with an interesting hint of orange peel. Expect notes of cherry, cranberry, raspberry, oak, coffee, vanilla, earthy tones, leather, and forest floor. 【This highly-regarded Premier Cru from Nuits-Saint-Georges is known for its elegant yet powerful expression of Pinot Noir from a prime vineyard site.】
🍴 This vibrant 布根地紅酒 is an excellent pairing for a range of dishes. Consider roasted red meats, game, mushroom-based dishes, coq au vin, or a selection of aged cheeses. Its youthful vigour also makes it suitable for richer poultry dishes.
🥂 The 2020 Nuits St. Georges Aux Boudots 1er Cru is perfect for a special dinner, a gathering of Burgundy enthusiasts, or a celebration where a youthful yet complex Pinot Noir is desired. Serve at around 16-18°C. A decant of 1-2 hours would be beneficial to allow its complex aromas to fully unfold.
BACKGROUND
Domaine Jean Jacques Confuron is a wine producer located in Premeaux, near Nuits-Saint-Georges in the Côte de Nuits, Burgund, France. The viticultural portfolio is now approximately 95-percent Pinot Noir with small plantings of Chardonnay and Aligoté. The domaine has 8 hectares (19 acres) of vines across 14 appellations, including plots in the prestigious grand cru vineyards Clos de Vougeot and Romanée-Saint-Vivant. The domaine began with the marriage of Jean Confuron and Anne Marie Bouchard in 1926, bringing together the vineyards of two different families. These vineyards have been passed through the family since, and the domaine has expanded as well, picking up plots in the prestigious grand cru sites.
