🏰 The 2024 Dard et Ribo Saint Joseph Rouge, though an extremely young vintage, is anticipated to embody the winery's pioneering spirit in natural winemaking, offering a 【subtle, refined Syrah that exemplifies cool-climate Northern Rhone style】. Dard et Ribo, established in 1984, are renowned for their meticulous approach, with each parcel vinified individually. While specific tasting notes for 2024 are not yet available, previous vintages of their Saint Joseph Rouge are known for dark cherry and plum notes, violets, and tapenade, with a tightly coiled energy. This wine is expected to be a structured red, true to the estate's DNA, where Syrah is worked using an infusion method.
🍴 This young, structured Syrah will be a versatile partner for a variety of dishes. It pairs excellently with gamey meats, roast white meats, braised dishes, and steak. Consider lamb, venison, or even a rich beef stew to complement its potential dark fruit and peppery notes.
🥂 Perfect for an adventurous wine lover eager to explore a nascent vintage from a cult producer, or for a casual gathering where a robust yet elegant red is desired. This wine is still very young and will benefit significantly from decanting for at least 1-2 hours to allow its youthful vigor to soften and its complex aromas to emerge. Serve at around 16-18°C (60-64°F).
