🏰 Rayas' 2012 Chateau des Tours Vacqueyras Rouge is a 【singular Southern Rhône Grenache blend, often likened to a Burgundy for its light color, exquisite finesse, and complex notes of roasted blood orange and candied strawberries】. This wine presents a beautiful nose of rose petals, longan berries, and sweet spices, with exotic aromas of moist tobacco and molasses. The palate is rich, balanced, and elegantly floral, showcasing medium-bodied structure with earthy red fruits and a lingering finish of rhubarb and blood orange. Despite a challenging 2012 vintage in Rhône, this wine demonstrates remarkable character and energy.
🍴 This rich and intense red wine is a classic pairing for lamb. Its complex profile also makes it an excellent companion for other roasted meats, game, or hearty stews.
🥂 Ideal for a special occasion, a connoisseur's tasting, or a memorable dinner, this wine is drinking beautifully now and can continue to evolve over the next few years. Serve at 16-18°C (60-64°F) after decanting for 1-2 hours to allow its unique aromatics to fully express themselves.
