🏰The Delas Hermitage Les Bessards 2014 is a rare single-vineyard expression, crafted exclusively from the oldest plots within the esteemed 'Les Bessards' area, with a limited annual production of just 6,000 bottles. The 2014 Rhône vintage, marked by a cool spring and summer followed by a warm autumn, allowed the Syrah to develop exceptional complexity and depth.
This brilliant red wine boasts a 【deep red hue and immense depth】, offering 【soft aromas of blackberries and violets】 on the nose. The palate reveals 【beautiful crushed rock-like minerality, liquid violets, cassis, and black raspberry flavors】, supported by a 【dense, rich tannic structure】 and 【molten chocolate undertones】, leading to an impeccably balanced and enduringly elegant finish.
🍴 Ideal with red meats, especially rare or medium-cooked game, marinated dishes, and spicy stews. Lamb is a particularly harmonious pairing.
🥂 A superb choice for a sophisticated dinner party, a serious wine tasting, or as a prized addition to your cellar. Decanting is recommended after at least 3 years of cellaring.
