🏰 The 2006 Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair La Romanée Grand Cru is a profound expression from one of Burgundy's most revered and smallest Grand Cru vineyards. The 2006 vintage in Burgundy was a mixed bag, but top estates like Liger-Belair, with their meticulous vineyard management, managed to produce wines of exceptional quality, particularly in the Côte de Nuits. The vintage is characterized by a balance of ripeness and freshness, offering wines with good structure and aging potential. La Romanée, a monopole vineyard, is celebrated for producing Pinot Noir of incredible finesse, complexity, and aromatic intensity. Expect a wine with a captivating bouquet of red and black fruits, floral notes, exotic spices, and a deep minerality, all wrapped in a silky, ethereal texture. This is a wine of immense pedigree and rarity. 【 Exquisite rarity from Burgundy's smallest Grand Cru 】
🥂 This exceptionally rare and prestigious 布根地 Grand Cru is reserved for the most significant life events, such as a landmark anniversary, a major achievement celebration, or a truly once-in-a-lifetime tasting experience with fellow connoisseurs. It's a wine to be savoured and revered.
🍴 This sublime Pinot Noir demands equally refined pairings. Consider delicate game birds like roasted squab or pheasant, truffle-infused dishes, or a perfectly prepared filet mignon with a light reduction sauce. For cheese, opt for aged, complex cheeses such as Époisses, Comté, or a mature goat cheese, allowing the wine's nuances to shine.
BACKGROUND
Founded in 2000, Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair is a relatively new wine producer in Burgundy, but the Liger-Belair family has experience in vineyards since 1815. . It is now managed by Louis-Michel Liguet, Comte de Belaire, who has begun planting vineyards again in Vonn-Romagne and Saint-Georges. Comte Liger-Belair now produces its only wine from La Romanée, a Grand Cru vineyard located on the Romanée-Conti hills. The domaine also owns land in several Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru vineyards. Although the domaine is young, its wines are elegantly structured and highly sought after. La Romanée is one of the most expensive wines produced in Burgundy.
