FEATURES
🏰The 2015 Tardieu Laurent Hermitage Rouge hails from a generally very good vintage in the Rhône Valley, known for producing wines with excellent concentration and structure. Tardieu Laurent, established in 1994, is celebrated as one of the most respected merchant-éleveurs in the region, crafting this Hermitage Rouge from vines on the steep, rocky, granite and clay soils of Pierrelles and Roumeas. They are known for their modern winemaking techniques and judicious use of new oak. Expect a wine with a 【deep red hue and dark highlights】, offering an expressive nose of black berries, roasted meat, smoke, dried leaves, and baking spices, evolving with aeration to reveal toasted almonds and exotic cherry. The palate is full-bodied with finely chiseled tannins, a silky texture, and controlled power, showcasing flavors of cherry, raspberry, and spring flowers, culminating in a long, dry finish with striking freshness.
🍴 This powerful and structured Hermitage Rouge is a superb match for a variety of rich dishes, including red and white meats like veal, pork, beef, lamb, duck, or game. It also elegantly complements roasted poultry, Provençal ratatouille, meat lasagna, braised lamb shank, spicy Asian cuisine, grilled tuna, mushrooms, and herb sausages.
🥂 Perfect for a formal dinner, a special occasion, or a gathering where rich, flavorful dishes are served. This wine has excellent aging potential, so it can be enjoyed now with decanting or cellared for further evolution.
