🏰 The 2017 Forey Pere & Fils Morey St. Denis is a delightful red Burgundy from an often under-rated producer, offering excellent value. 【 被低估的生產商,提供卓越的性價比 】。 This Pinot Noir vintage is characterized by an earthy, savory edge with ripe red-cherry and blueberry-pastry notes, complemented by subtle floral and earthy undertones. On the palate, it presents a fresh, medium-bodied profile with fine tannins and a clean, mineral-tinged finish. Tasters have noted juicy, pleasant, and charming red fruit, great freshness, and hints of oak, cedar, and tobacco.
🍴 This versatile Morey St. Denis pairs wonderfully with a range of savory dishes. It's an excellent match for duck, goose, and other game birds, as well as beef, veal, and poultry. Its earthy and fruity notes will complement roasted meats and rich sauces beautifully.
🥂 The 2017 Forey Pere & Fils Morey St. Denis is youthful but already drinking well, with the potential to improve over the next few years, offering a good 6-7 years of enjoyment. It's ideal for a casual yet elegant dinner, a gathering with friends, or as a thoughtful gift for a Burgundy enthusiast. Decanting for a short period can help it express its full aromatic complexity.
