🏰 The 2005 Burgundy vintage is 【considered one of the most memorable and grandiose, producing dense, elegant, and harmonious red wines that rank among Burgundy's greatest long-term successes】. This Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier Musigny Grand Cru is an elegant, well-structured wine, offering aromas and flavors of red cherries and spice. It boasts a seductive perfume of red and black fruits, flowers, spices, and minerals, with a silky texture and a firm backbone of acidity and tannin. These rich and ripe fruit flavors, combined with firm tannins and balancing acidity, make it a wine of great character and longevity, as well as immense pleasure and charm.
🍴 This exquisite Grand Cru pairs beautifully with not-too-spicy sauces on filet mignon, rich pork, or game birds. It also complements roast duck with cabbage, game birds, and sweetbreads.
🥂 This wine is a majestic long-term investment, offering great character and immense pleasure. It should be given at least 5 years in the bottle before opening and can mature for up to 20 years or more. Top appellations from this vintage are still very far from ready and should be kept back for further aging. Serve at a cellar temperature of 14-16°C (57-61°F).
