Forey Pere & Fils, Vosne Romanee Les Petits Monts 1er Cru, 2016
🏰 Forey Pere & Fils Vosne Romanee Les Petits Monts 1er Cru 2016 is a highly sought-after red Burgundy. The 2016 vintage in Burgundy, particularly in the Côte de Nuits, was challenging due to frost but ultimately produced wines of remarkable purity, freshness, and elegance, albeit in smaller quantities. Vosne-Romanée is renowned for producing some of the most perfumed and silky Pinot Noirs. This 1er Cru from Les Petits Monts is expected to showcase the classic Vosne spice, floral notes, and a refined structure. 【Highly sought-after red Burgundy from a challenging but rewarding vintage】.
🍴 This exquisite Pinot Noir demands pairings that highlight its aromatic complexity without overpowering it. For Eastern cuisine, consider delicate Cantonese roast goose, pan-seared duck breast with five-spice, or a refined mushroom and truffle risotto. Western pairings could include roasted guinea fowl, coq au vin, or a perfectly cooked rack of lamb with herbs.
🥂 An ideal wine for a connoisseur's tasting, a romantic dinner, or a special celebration among Burgundy enthusiasts. Its elegance and potential for further development make it a contemplative choice.
