🏰 【As the smallest Grand Cru of Morey-Saint-Denis, Clos Saint-Denis is a rare and highly sought-after Pinot Noir, celebrated for its delicate yet complex character and excellent aging potential.】 The 2009 vintage, now beautifully mature, presents a deep ruby red color. On the nose, expect a complex array of ripe cherry, strawberry, plum, and spices, subtly enhanced by hints of cigar and exotic wood. With age, it develops intriguing animal or gamey notes, showcasing a silky yet deceptively powerful palate with elegant, complex aromas and subtle red fruit flavors, complemented by earthy, floral, mushroom, and mineral undertones.
🍴 This exquisite Grand Cru is an ideal partner for noble dishes such as roast duck breast with foie gras, the finest game or venison, or mature, non-creamy cheeses like Citeaux or Reblochon.
🥂 The 2009 vintage is now entering its prime drinking window, having developed for over a decade. Decanting for 30-60 minutes can help it fully express its mature complexities.
