🏰 The 2010 Lucien Le Moine Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru is a highly acclaimed Pinot Noir from Burgundy, with critics like Burghound rating it 93 points and Vinous giving it 94-96 points. This vintage is celebrated for its exceptional style, combining finesse with superb authority and striking intensity. On the palate, expect a delightful expression of red fruit with hints of blackberry, complemented by great spice and intriguing textures. The wine is noted for its wonderful nose that opens up beautifully, revealing aromas of red cherry, musk, whole cluster, and sweet spices with a light earthy element.
🍴 This elegant red Burgundy pairs exquisitely with classic French dishes such as roasted duck, goose, or game birds. For a more luxurious experience, consider pairing it with pan-seared foie gras or a rich mushroom risotto. For an East-meets-West approach, try it with Cantonese roasted pigeon or a delicate dim sum selection featuring earthy mushrooms.
🥂 Perfect for a sophisticated dinner party or a special anniversary celebration, this Grand Cru is a testament to fine Burgundian winemaking. It's a wine to be savored and discussed among connoisseurs.
