WINE REGION
France Bordeaux Pessac-Leognan
FEATURES
🏰 The 2007 vintage in Bordeaux was particularly strong for dry white wines from Pessac-Léognan, with many displaying fresh aromatic fruit and mouth-watering acidity. Château Pape Clément Blanc 2007 is considered a very fine example from this vintage, with some critics noting its exoticism and notes of peach and mango. It presents a golden straw yellow color with light amber reflections, indicating its maturity. The bouquet is impressive, unfolding intense aromas of ripe yellow fruits like peach, apricot, and pineapple, accompanied by subtle floral notes, fine spices, and a discreet mineral component. On the palate, it offers a balanced structure, refreshing acidity, a creamy texture, and a light mineral note, leading to an elegant, complex, and long, lingering finish. 【 An exquisite and mature Bordeaux white with exceptional quality and aging potential 】. Robert Parker rated this vintage 97 points, highlighting its immense fruit concentration, good acidity, and spicy, petrol, and honey-tinged finish. 🍴 This exquisite white Bordeaux is best served with a myriad of seafood dishes, shellfish, crab, lobster, sushi, sashimi, chicken, pork, and veal, as well as Asian cuisine. Its elegance also makes it a good match for roasted poultry or grilled red bream. 🥂 Ideal for a sophisticated seafood dinner, a celebratory brunch, or a special occasion where a mature and complex white wine is appreciated. Its depth and elegance make it a memorable choice for discerning palates.

There are 2.5 hectares (6.2 acres) planted to white grapes. This comprises around 45 percent each of Semillon, and Sauvignon Blanc, and 10 percent Muscadelle.
