🏰The 2019 Burgundy vintage is widely praised as superb for both red and white wines, with an extraordinary concentration and balance despite being a warm year. Domaine Morey-Coffinet's Bourgogne Blanc 2019, from a vintage that produced wines with amazing consistency and balance, offers a delightful expressiveness with a lifted florality and clear fruit. Expect a buttery and complex white Chardonnay, showcasing the energetic and fresh citrus notes that define many good 2019 whites.
🍴 This versatile white Burgundy pairs wonderfully with roast chicken or turkey, fresh seafood, and dishes with white sauces. Consider it with pan-seared cod with lemon butter, creamy mushroom pasta, or a classic chicken fricassee. For an Asian pairing, try dim sum like steamed shrimp dumplings or a light stir-fried vegetable dish.
🥂 An excellent choice for a casual weeknight dinner, a gathering with friends, or as an aperitif. Its bright and fresh characteristics make it suitable for various occasions, from a relaxed brunch to a more formal lunch.
