🏰 The 2019 vintage for white Burgundy, including Meursault, is generally considered excellent, offering wines with both richness and freshness. Michel Lafarge's Meursault 2019 is expected to showcase the classic characteristics of the appellation, known for its opulent yet elegant profile. 【 A classic expression of Meursault's terroir in a highly-regarded vintage 】. Expect a wine with a beautiful balance of ripe fruit, often notes of apple, pear, and citrus, complemented by a creamy texture and hints of hazelnut, butter, and a distinct minerality from its limestone soils. The finish should be long and harmonious, reflecting the quality of the vintage.
🍴 This elegant Meursault pairs wonderfully with rich seafood dishes like pan-seared scallops, lobster bisque, or grilled turbot. It also complements roasted chicken or veal in a cream sauce, as well as mature Comté or Gruyère cheese.
🥂 Perfect for a sophisticated dinner party, a special anniversary celebration, or as a luxurious aperitif to impress discerning guests.
