Anne Gros, Chambolle Musigny La Combe D'orveau, 2021
🏰The 2021 Anne Gros Chambolle Musigny La Combe d'Orveau is a 【silky, finely etched Chambolle from one of the village's benchmark domaines, showcasing perfume and finesse over sheer power】. The 2021 vintage in Burgundy produced elegant, vibrant wines with good acidity. This wine offers a beautiful ruby color with a delicate rim. On the nose, it's very engaging, with pure redcurrant, raspberry, violet, peony, and old rose aromas, complemented by subtle peppery spice, damp stone, and hints of white pepper. The palate is medium-bodied, with juicy red fruit, fine-boned tannins, and a cool, mineral, slightly spicy finish. It's described as delicate yet profound, with a velvety texture and impeccable balance.
🍴This elegant Pinot Noir pairs wonderfully with delicate dishes such as roasted chicken, pan-seared duck breast, mushroom-based pasta, or a fine salmon preparation. It also complements mild, soft cheeses.
🥂An excellent choice for an intimate dinner, a sophisticated gathering with friends, or as a gift for a Burgundy lover who appreciates finesse and aromatic complexity. It's a classic, elegant Chambolle that will drink beautifully over the next decade. Serve at 16-18°C (60-64°F).
