🏰Vincent Dancer's Bourgogne Blanc 2022, a 【'villages-level quality' wine sourced from Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet vineyards】, showcases the producer's signature lean, bright, and savory style from the excellent 2022 vintage. Known for his minimalist approach, Vincent Dancer focuses on low extraction and early picking, with natural fermentations and aging in neutral vessels, resulting in wines of remarkable gravitas and complexity for their status.
This elegant and light-footed white Burgundy offers an aromatic nose of pear, peaches, white flowers, and a subtle touch of neutral oak. The palate is pure and precise, with crisp green apple, citrus notes, a hint of salt, and good minerality, leading to a satiny, fine-boned profile.
🍴 This truly enjoyable wine is very versatile with food, pairing wonderfully with chicken and turkey dishes, as well as upper-tier modern bistro fare. Its bright acidity and delicate flavors make it a great match for various seafood and light appetizers.
🥂 An excellent choice for everyday enjoyment or as a delightful aperitif, this is the kind of wine you can happily drink while waiting for your Premier Crus to age. It's ready to be enjoyed now, offering freshness and elegance.
BACKGROUND
Domaine Vincent Dancer is a small but highly regarded Burgundian producer based in Chassagne-Montrachet, in the Côte de Beaune, France. The primary grape variety is Chardonnay. Dancer began in 1996 with an annual production of 4000 bottles, sold mainly to négociants, and produced from family-owned vines that had previously been rented to relatives. Since 2003, this figure has increased to around 20,000 bottles. Since the portfolio includes over a dozen wines, only a few barrels made of each.
