FEATURES
The Bérêche et Fils Reflet d'Antan Brut is the flagship cuvée from one of Champagne's most admired grower houses, renowned for its multi-vintage blend crafted through a unique perpetual reserve system (akin to a solera) initiated in 1985. This system, where two-thirds of the wine is refreshed annually with the latest vintage, creates a 【 perpetual reserve system creating riveting complexity and a reflection of "Champagne d'Antan" (Champagne of yesteryear) 】. Aged for four years on its lees, this Champagne offers a deep golden color and a complex bouquet of brioche, hazelnut, dried apricot, and candied lemon. Expect mature and complex aromas of candied fruits, nougat, and genoise, with tertiary notes of undergrowth and spices. The palate is powerful, unctuous, and voluminous, with remarkable depth, a creamy mousse, and a long, vinous finish, culminating in a delicately chalky and saline aftertaste. Recent releases are bottled exclusively in magnum, further emphasizing its quality and age-worthiness.
🍴 This sophisticated Champagne is versatile with food, pairing beautifully with shellfish, crab, and lobster. It also complements stinky cheeses, roast white meats, white sauce dishes, fried food, and spicy dishes.
🥂 An ideal choice for discerning palates, special occasions, or any moment where a Champagne with profound depth, history, and unique character is desired.
