FEATURES
🏰 The 2007 AF Gros Richebourg Grand Cru is an understated yet elegant rendition of this frequently lavish and dramatic cuvée, showcasing a lively core of fruit and melting tannins. This Pinot Noir from Burgundy's Côte de Nuits is crafted by Mathias Parent, who took over winemaking in 2011, continuing a legacy of meticulous viticulture and winemaking. The 2007 vintage in Burgundy was generally considered challenging but produced some surprisingly charming and early-drinking wines, and this Richebourg is noted for drinking well today.
【Savor the refined elegance of this Richebourg Grand Cru, offering a bright structure supporting cherry, raspberry, spice, and herb flavors, culminating in sweet licorice and savory notes.】 Aromas of espresso roast, plums, and raspberries preface a medium to full-bodied, ample, and fleshy wine. The tannins are refined and well-integrated, contributing to a polished texture.
🍴 This exquisite red Burgundy is a superb match for classic French cuisine. Consider pairing it with roasted duck, coq au vin, mushroom-based dishes, or delicate game birds. Its refined tannins and bright acidity also make it a good companion for dishes featuring truffles or a fine cheese platter with aged Comté or Époisses.
🥂 An excellent choice for a sophisticated dinner party, a special anniversary, or a serious Burgundy tasting. Its current drinkability and elegant profile make it a delightful experience. Serve at 16-18°C (60-64°F) to allow its complex aromatics to fully develop.
