The 2022 Lucien Le Moine Vosne-Romanée Les Suchots hails from one of Burgundy's most revered Premier Cru vineyards, often considered to possess Grand Cru quality. Lucien Le Moine, a micro-négociant, is celebrated for his meticulous, hands-on approach and dedication to expressing the unique terroir of each parcel. While specific tasting notes for the 2022 vintage of this particular wine are still emerging due to its recent release, the 2022 Burgundy vintage is generally anticipated to be a good one, potentially offering ripe fruit and generosity.
Vosne-Romanée Les Suchots is renowned for producing red wines of exceptional elegance, perfumed aromatics, and silky tannins. Expect a wine that, even in its youth, will hint at layers of red and dark berries, floral notes, and a subtle minerality, all framed by a refined structure that promises excellent aging potential. Lucien Le Moine's wines are known for their purity and depth, often requiring some time in the bottle to fully unfurl their complexities.
🥂 This wine is ideal for special occasions, intimate dinners, or for collectors looking to cellar a promising young Burgundy. It's a wine to be savored and contemplated.
🍴 Food pairing suggestions for a young, elegant Vosne-Romanée include roasted duck breast with cherry reduction, pan-seared foie gras, or delicate mushroom dishes. For a more East-West fusion, consider Peking duck or a refined dim sum selection.
