FEATURES
🏰 The 2014 Château Pape Clément Blanc is a highly regarded white Bordeaux, a blend primarily of Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Sauvignon Gris. Critics have praised its complexity, intensity, and potential for aging. James Suckling described it with complex aromas of sliced apples, honey, pineapple, and honeysuckle, noting its full body, firm, silky tannins, and a beautiful, intense, and powerful finish. Wine Enthusiast highlighted its ripe and tropical character, with mango and pineapple flavors, while Wine Spectator found it showy with a creamy feel and notes of lemon pound cake, tangerine cream, and white ginger. Neal Martin noted a tangible richness and almost decadence on the nose, with lemon curd and dried honey, and a very well-balanced, powerful palate. 【Intense and Powerful White Bordeaux】 🍴 This rich and complex white wine is an excellent match for a variety of dishes. Consider pairing it with classic seafood preparations like grilled lobster, pan-seared scallops, or rich fish dishes such as roasted turbot. It also complements poultry, creamy pasta dishes, and even some Asian cuisines, particularly those with a delicate balance of sweet and savory flavors. 🥂 The 2014 Château Pape Clément Blanc is perfect for a celebratory dinner, a special occasion, or as a sophisticated aperitif. Its intensity and aging potential make it a compelling choice for collectors and those looking to impress.

There are 2.5 hectares (6.2 acres) planted to white grapes. This comprises around 45 percent each of Semillon, and Sauvignon Blanc, and 10 percent Muscadelle. The château takes its name from its founder, Betrand de Got, who was the Archbishop of Bordeaux and became Pope Clément V in 1305. It is currently part of the Bernard Magrez group of estates.
