This Champagne offers a big, toasty, and yeasty profile, with a slightly oxidative character. Notes of buttered toast and green apple are present, alongside tight bubbles, good acidity, and impressive depth and complexity. As it warms, the toast element becomes more pronounced, lending a serious and profound feel to the wine. Other descriptions include caramel and vanilla notes, with the fruit showing a graceful decline while remaining beautiful. It's also described as classy, elegant, and voluptuous, with quince, marmalade, honey, sour candies, mushrooms, a hint of truffles, old furniture, old library, sherry wine, nail polish, vanilla, caramelized apples, baked pears, apricots and peaches, very ripe red plums, blackberries, melon, coconut, guava, walnuts, puff pastries, salted caramel, and spiced cookies. The texture is very creamy, delicate, and sensual, with high acidity ensuring a very long life.
