The Domaine Anne Gros Hautes-Côtes de Nuits 2019 is a Pinot Noir from Burgundy, produced by Anne Gros, one of Burgundy's top winemakers known for her expert touch, offering richer aromatics, rounder curves, and silkier tannins. The 2019 vintage for red wines in Burgundy was characterized by beautiful sunshine, resulting in deep colors and black fruit aromatic profiles, with structured yet velvety tannins and a refreshing finish. This particular wine shows fine fruit, with notes of raspberries and hints of black cherries on the nose, backed by a line of acidity for freshness. It also presents red fruit notes like strawberry and cherry, earthy undertones, and hints of oak. The wine is described as subtle, harmonious, and supple. 【Cult-like following due to Anne Gros's expert touch and limited production】.
🍴 Food pairing suggestions include aged local French cheese, charcuterie, pork sausages with herbs, white meats, and roasted dishes served with onion and fruit confits. Its moderate acidity makes it a wine for drinking young.
🥂 This wine is excellent for dinner aperitifs and especially savory dishes. It's also suitable for enjoying with white meats or charcuterie without garlic, making it versatile for various dining occasions.
