This Champagne presents a luminous, fluid appearance with a pale yellow color and bright straw yellow flashes. On the nose, it offers initial aromas of patisserie and oriental spices, with delightful notes of almond paste, praline, and spice. The palate delivers a fresh and clean attack, developing a fleshy and crunchy fruitiness underpinned by tight lemon acidity. Tasting notes for the 2014 vintage specifically mention baked apples, vanilla, ginger, and cinnamon on the nose, with baked apricot, vanilla, brown sugar, lemon rind, raisins, cinnamon, nutmeg, gingerbread cookies, honey, and toffee on the palate, all with a racy acidity. The finish echoes lemon rind, ginger, and cinnamon.
🍴 This Extra Brut Champagne is perfectly suited for an aperitif and festive occasions. Its depth and diversity also pair exceptionally well with fusion foods made with pork, lamb, or Comté cheese. Delicate foods such as amuse-bouche, fish, poultry, or goat cheese are also excellent choices.
🥂 An ideal choice for celebrations, special toasts, or as a sophisticated accompaniment to a gourmet meal. Its complexity and freshness make it versatile for various festive events.
