Château Matras has a long history dating back to the 12th century when it was originally used as a church. Over the centuries, it evolved into a vineyard and winemaking estate. The property was owned by the Gaboriaud family until 2011, when it was purchased by Chanel the vines are incorporated into the production of Château Canon.
